Events Manager

We run regular events across the country to bring people together to have positive conversations about the energy transition and how they can be a part of it. About the role

Reporting to the CEO of EnergyLab, the Events Manager will be responsible for organising and executing on EnergyLab's national program of public events. That involves running regular discussion events and hackathons.

Success in this role will involve running high-quality events that are well attended, raise EnergyLab's profile and inspire people to pursue clean energy entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will be reliable, proactive and hard working. They will also demonstrate a passion for the clean energy sector and a desire to stay on top of industry developments.


Skills and experience required

We are looking for candidates with experience running events, no matter how small. The successful candidate should also be proficient in project management and public speaking.


Key details

Location: Choose between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
Travel: An average of one night per week
Contract: Full-time 1-year contract with the expectation to renew (subject to funding and performance)
Salary: $70k per annum plus superannuation
Start date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: EnergyLab's CEO
