Sydney-based Wattwatchers is an energy technology company that specialises in devices to monitor and control electricity in real time over the internet. Wattwatchers is increasing its direct engagement of local electricians - who are required to install their products - and also home and small business energy consumers who use their technology to monitor electricity use at their premises to save money, facilitate distributed energy resources such as solar PV, and reduce carbon pollution.
Wattwatchers are looking for a paid intern, initially for two days a week (16 hours) over a period of 3 months, to help with Wattwatchers social media and related communications. This will include but not be limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, website management and blogging.
Wattwatchers are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for effectively engaging target audiences with simple, impactful communications; a strong command of spoken and written English language; and a desire to further develop their skills in an operational business environment.
A successful applicant for the intern position will work under the direction of Wattwatchers Director of Communications and Community Networks, Murray Hogarth.
