Another fantastic year at All Energy comes to a close, packed full with innovative pitches, thoughtful panels, and productive networking.

Thank you to everyone who joined, presented, and sponsored the EnergyLab Startup Showcase. It’s brilliant to see the two day program growing every year. Now in its fifth year, the agenda was packed with over 50 presenters and 40 startups from current programs and alumni, as well as industry, government, investors, and saw unprecedented audience engagement.

Both mornings started in an energised fashion: live demos fuelled by espressos. Our day one presenters represented the startups shaping Australia’s battery future, and unpacked their innovations from across the lithium battery value chain. A big thank you to Renewable Metals, Carbophite, Cosmos Infinity, Vaulta, and Net Zero Engineering Solutions for starting it all off with a (caffeinated) bang!

For the first time, the Supercharge Australia Innovation Challenge Awards was brought to the public. This saw fantastic presentations from Anodean, Asynsis, Evermatter, Found Power, Howe Invest, SheRecycles, Smartizer, Verdant-Ion, Voltavate, Volterra (all the way from VietNam), and a fireside chat with the 2025 winner Kyle Van Berendonck from VeePower Group. Fresh from the formal judging the previous week, Supercharge Australia was delighted to announce the 2026 Australian winner as Anodean, the South East Asian winner as Volterra, and the live audience voted for the People’s Choice Award, which went to Verdant-Ion. Congratulations to the 2026 cohort and award winners.

As the afternoon settled in, Nadine ‘Noodles’ Groves (Natural Velocity) turned attention to AI as a catalyst for the energy transition. The panellists from Zero Parallax, Geoneon, and Neara dove into how they are leveraging AI to move faster, scale smarter, and drive superior climate outcomes, with the crowd pitching in with some excellent Q&A.

Day one came to a close with a live Energy Scaleup Showcase. These startups are looking to partner with industry to translate their tech into real-world impact. This included brilliant pitches from Assetcool, Crest Robotics, Gridbrid, Zero Parallax, Trendspek, Continuum Industries, FulcrumAir, Third Equation, Factor, and Syncrowin. A special thanks to Matthew Pellow from Endeavour Energy for your support and presentation.

Day two continued the showcase of innovation with demos from MetroElectro, DC3 Tech, Loop Hydrometallurgy, Enosi, and a special presentation from Volterra (aka VolNexus) after their Supercharge Australia Innovation Challenge Award win on Day 1.

There was enthusiastic audience participation in the panel on future industries. With panellists from Aspiring Materials, Algenie, OzAmmonia, Loop Hydrometallurgy, and chaired by Emma Jenkin from Kilara Salter Brothers, the conversation spanned a variety of valuable products and climate solutions enabled by the energy transition.

In a change of pace, EnergyLab CEO & Director, Megan Fisher, gathered some supporters from the startup ecosystem in a panel to discuss the Startup Advantage: How to Invest, Mentor, and Partner with Startups. Dean Travers (ARENA) provided insight into both the government funding and angel investment perspective, Tom Kline (Climate Tech Partners) laid out the Venture Capital lens, Claire Elkin (Engineering Equilibrium) explored the mentoring opportunity, and Suchi Szczepanski (Origin Energy) outlined the corporate platform to drive a pipeline of startup support.

As is tradition, the EnergyLab Startup Showcase wrapped up All Energy with the Breakthrough Tech Pitchfest. With rapid-fire four minute pitches and insightful audience questions, Room 212 was buzzing with energy despite the exhaustion of the two days. This featured a keynote from the EnergyLab event sponsor Ackama, then presentations from Surya, Voltavate, Smartizer, Thermal Dawn, Found Power, Birra Technologies, and BessIQ to close out the event.

EnergyLab would like to thank the sponsors of the EnergyLab Startup Showcase, ARENA and Ackama, for their continued support of this event and the EnergyLab mission. Also, thanks to RX Global and All Energy Australia for another magnificent event and platform for Australia’s climate and energy startup ecosystem to network, pitch, and grow.
