Ready to expand overseas?

The Going International Bootcamp supports startups to discover and develop market opportunities outside of Australia grounded in an understanding of what it takes to succeed when expanding, and key factors to consider when taking the leap. The program will involve a range of market briefings delivered by EnergyLab's international partners. We'll also run Cross Border Pitch days to give Australian startups the opportunity to pitch to international investors and industry, and international startups the chance to pitch to investors and industry in Australia. The Going International Bootcamp program is proudly funded by the NSW Government.

The program has three main components spanning 6 months supported by mentors to soundboard off and sense check your thinking.

How to successfully expand into international markets & market briefings

28 October - 6 December 2024

Hear from our partners in the US, UK and various markets in South East Asia about what it takes to succeed in the market, what pitfalls to avoid, finding the right landing pad, key organisations to connect with and more.

Cross border pitch days

10 - 21 February 2024

Pitch to international climate tech investors for investment, guidance, feedback and introductions.

FAQs

The program is delivered entirely virtually, over Zoom. You can dial in from anywhere. Co-working options are available for Sydney-based founders.

The Going International Bootcamp runs from mid-October 2024 to mid-February 2025. Sessions are broken up in two-week blocks in this period (see program structure section). We'll provide you with a personalised program schedule based on which markets you're interested in.
